I'm a London based Creative Technologist and UI/UX designer graduate from UAL: Central Saint Martins. I work creatively with code, 2 & 3D digital product design, AR, VR and data visualisation.
My design practice often operates in technical, scientifically driven problem spaces, helping others to reframe and communicate complexdata by advocating the importance of scientific rigour in design and greater creative thinking in solving technical problems.
Talking this approach to an increasingly complex, data fuelled world, I feel that across so many industries, the will to simplify, make sense and communicate ideas is central to optimising user experience.
I see the role of design in unwrapping complexity as vital and I believe that design can, in turn, learn a great deal from being part of cutting-edge discourse concerning inquiries at the forefront of science & technology.
My work has been recognised with 8 global design awards including two D&AD New Blood Pencils (for Dropbox) one D&AD New Blood Pencil (forMonotype) and a D&AD Professional Award with multimedia work for Universityof the Arts, London.
I was a winner at the TDK global portfolio awards andwas Shortlisted in Communication Arts ‘Best in Typography’ Awards andLonglisted in the Kantar ‘Information is Beautiful’ Awards.
My work has been featured in Computer Arts, Creative Review, Digital Arts, Frieze and the D&AD design annuals of 2017, 2018 and 2019. External to this, I have mentored and spoken at the D&AD New Blood Programme, presented at the Google Climate Hackathon and as a guest speaker on the UAL,Central Saint Martins, Information Systems Design undergraduate course.
